This is your foundation-building class. Designed as one of our focused development sessions at The Studio Standish, Strength & Core gives you the time and structure to work on full-body strength while building deep, lasting core stability — all at your own pace.

In every session, you'll work through a carefully structured set of upper and lower body strength exercises, paired with targeted core movements that help stabilise and support your entire body. The class structure remains consistent over a period of weeks, allowing you to perfect your technique, build confidence in each movement, and progressively increase the weight or intensity as your strength improves.

It’s not about racing through reps — it’s about moving with control, purpose, and progression.


What to Expect:

Each week, you'll repeat and refine a familiar set of movements that target:
  • Upper Body – Presses, rows, and lifts to strengthen shoulders, back, and arms.
  • Lower Body – Squats, deadlifts, and lunges to power up your glutes, quads, and hamstrings.
  • Core – Focused work on deep core muscles to support balance, posture, and lifting power.

Our instructors are there to coach your form, help you select the right weights, and guide you through progressions so you’re always moving forward.

This is your time to slow down, lift with purpose, and reconnect with your strength.
